Look at what had happened to Amitabh Bachchan during 'Coolie'.Akshay Kumar has a minor accident while shooting for Thumbs up ad. In what's unarguably the most celebrated celebrity accident in India, Amitabh Bachchan was delivered a near-fatal blow on his solar plexus during the shooting of Manmohan Desai's "Coolie" in 1982. Hrithik said -every accident and every injury teaches him something. “For him his work comes first and he will never let his producers suffer because of some small accident. I’m yet to see an actor more committed than him,” says Hrithik’s secretary Ashok. Wish we had more actors like him!

Preity injured while shooting
It's not easy being Preity Zinta. For the last two days she has been wincing in pain, hobbling on the outskirts of Chandigarh.
"We've been shooting here for Mera Bharat Mahaan. Yesterday while doing an outdoor scene with Salman I was running barefoot when a nail pierced the sole of my foot. At that time I didn't feel the pain so much. But as the day progressed the foot got worse. I'm still alive and kicking. These things don't bother me much, except that this one is hurting and hurting."

Shah Rukh Khan injured at multiplex!
SRK escaped with few bruises in a freak accident during the music release of the movie. He was injured when a glass door where he was standing gave away and the glass pieces fell on him. This is the second such accident this year for him. Recently he had hurt his leg while shooting for Chak De. He was shooting at a Melbourne hockey stadium, when he injured his foot just above his knee and had a hamstring pull.

Rahul doesn’t mind injuries
Rahul Bose had recently got an injury while shooting for his forthcoming film, ‘Chain Kuli Ki Main Kuli’. Rahul sprained his ankle while playing rugby. But an injured Rahul doesn’t mind the injury and pain due to it and feels that all this is a part and parcel of work.

Zayed Khan injured on speed set!
Guess what chocolate hero Zayed Khan’s hobby is? He loves doing his own stunts and he says that he gets an adrenaline rush when he does them. And that’s why he says he did his own bike stunt in Dus and now has pushed his director Anubhav Sinha to let him do the stunt on a bike in his forthcoming action packed flick Cash. He says he is so kicked with his action scenes that the injury he suffered while doing his stunt in his movie Speed and that gave him a Slip-disc and got him bedridden for 6months didn’t deter him from trying out new stunts again.

Akbar Hrithik suffered knee injury!
Hrithik Roshan reportedly sustained a minor injury while shooting a swordfight scene with actress Aishwarya Rai .Hrithik and Ash are shooting together for Ashutosh Gowarikar’s movie Jodha Akbar in which they play emperor Akbar and princess Jodhabai respectively. The two stars were filming a scene in which they had to fight each other with swords.
Sources are quoted as saying that there was a slight lapse of timing in the swordfight scene and Hrithik ended up getting injured by Ash’s sword.
Earlier, while learning horse riding for this film, Hrithik had fallen from a horse, his foot had got stuck in the stirrup, and he got dragged on the ground for some distance. That incident, too, had left Hrithik undaunted.

Riteish Deshmukh injured on the sets of Bluff Master!
Riteish Deshmukh was injured when he tried to be a perfectionist while shooting for Bluff Master. He wanted to make the shot look more realistic and in the process ended up hurting himself. Ritiesh was shooting with Abhishek Bachchan for an action sequence where the duo is surrounded by goons. The scene required one of the goons to hit Riteish with a steel gun. The guy was slow in his action, just to ensure that he don’t hurt Riteish.

Aishwarya injured on the sets of Khakee and Guru!
Aishwarya Rai was injured when a jeep accidentally hit her during a film shooting near Trimbakeshwar, about 25km from Nashik. She was rehearsing a scene in which a jeep was supposed to come near her at high speed and stop 20ft from her.
However the driver miscalculated the distance and jeep hit her. She received ten stitches and latter was flown to Mumbai in a helicopter and admitted to the Hinduja hospital for further treatment. Months latter she met with another minor accident while shooting on the sets of Mani Ratnam’s film Guru. She was riding a bicycle when the chain got stuck and she was thrown off the bicycle. Fortunately, for her she escaped with only a minor bruise.

Akshay Kumar injured while doing Thumps Up ad!
Akshay was injured while doing a stunt for a Thumbs Up commercial in Cape Town, South Africa some time back. The actor burnt his right foot and had to undergo a week’s medication.
The accident occurred when Akshay was riding a bike and had to take a leap with the bike over a pit of fire. The heat from the exhaust pipe of the bike burnt Akshay’s skin and he was rushed to a local hospital.

John injured on the sets of Kaal!
John Abraham was injured while shooting for Kaal, in Corbett National Park. He fell down and tore a knee ligament.
And, inspite of that he continued shooting and as a result there was swelling on his knee.

Arshad Warsi injured on the sets of Sunday!
Arshad Warsi escaped with minor injuries while shooting for the film Sunday in New Delhi.
He was injured as one of the reflectors fell on him during the shooting that was taking place close to the historical 'Agrasen ki Baoli' in the heart of the capital. Warsi received minor injuries on his head.

Bobby injured on the sets of Dosti!
Bobby Deol was injured on sets of Dosti - Friends Forever. He hurt himself while shooting for a song sequence which was being choreographed by Ganesh Acharya.
The song was being pasteurized on Bobby Deol and Lara Dutta, and Bobby pulled a hamstring while dancing.

Vivek injured on the sets of Yuva!
Vivek Oberoi was injured twice while shooting for his film. First time he was injured during the shooting of a Mani Ratnam film Yuva in Kolkata. He suffered a minor fracture in his left hand.
And second time when he was riding a horse for the shooting of Subhash Ghai-directed Kisna. Suddenly, the horse started running and he lost balance and fell down injuring him.

Amitabh injured on the sets of Coolie!
The nation came to a halt in 1982 when Amitabh Bachchan injured himself fatally and had a near brush with death while shooting a fighting scene on the set of Coolie.
His accident became the talk of the nation and it was so high in public memory that when Coolie was released, it featured a freeze-frame and caption, isolating the exact instant during a fight scene when Amitabh was hurt.

Nana Patekar injured on the sets of Taxi 9211!
Nana Patekar fractured his knee while shooting for Milan Luthria’s Taxi No. Nau Do Gyarah at Mumbai’s Bandra Terminus on August 20. The scene required him to get into a scuffle with a stuntman, Nana lost his balance and he fell hard on the ground.
But he continued shooting after that. It was only the next day that he went in for a medical check-up and he realized that he had a fracture.

Amrish Puri injured on the sets of Jaal!
Late Amrish Puri was injured near the Rohtang Pass at a place called Rani Nala during the shooting of Jaal, but that stopped him from completing the rest of the shooting.
