Bollywood celebrities are just like anyone else. They often make poor choices in mates. They overindulge. They fail to save money. They’re insecure. And, of course, they make New Year resolutions.
However, because of their hectic schedules, they don’t always have time to do so. Often, the New Year comes and goes without resolutions. Sometimes they themselves speak out before media and other times they have their secretaries or personal assistants to make resolutions for them. As we already rolled in the year 2008, let’s see what’s Bollywood stars are planning in their different ways for this very year.
Sanjay Dutt:
I’m looking forward to reform my lifestyle in 2008. To begin with, I’ve made a resolution to give up alcohol for at least one year, if not for lifetime. Besides, I’ll also float my home production banner Sanjay Dutt Films in 2008.
Bipasha Basu:
In 2008 I want to be fitter and healthier. I also want some more interesting work to come my way. And I want to travel a lot more in my free time.
Sonam Kapoor:
As my grandfather died at the end of the year, my New Year resolution is to spend as much time as possible with my grandmother. And since my grandfather would always joke about my lack of a boyfriend, maybe I need to get one of those into my life. Where can I order one?
Arshad Warsi:
In 2008 I'm really going to start looking after myself, and I want to work even harder on my films. No more supporting roles for me. I'll now support myself.
Esha Deol:
In 2008 I’ll be waiting with fingers crossed for a role that’ll challenge me as an actress. For the rest of world I pray for peace.
Urmila Matondkar:
Why make New Year resolutions? I learn from my mistakes throughout the year.
Malaika Arora:
Oh, I make New Year resolutions religiously every year and break them throughout the year. 2008 will be no exception.
